Some days I hope for the perfect ray of sunlight to highlight my subject. Other days I hope for something inspiring. On this day I met this rose. The bloom was open to the elements with her leaves blowing in the gentle breeze. I am ever so glad I had brought my camera along on the walk that day. Thank you, world.
Taken from Epping Forest, I took the opportunity to capture sunlight breaking through the clouds in north London.
Some sunlight broke through as I walked along the towpath of the Basingstoke Canal at Church Crookham. Winter light has a weak quality but it is so welcome after the greyness and drizzle we have been experiencing.
