Thanks to all those who are adding this to their favourites. Much appreciated.
My favorite time of the day and the thing I like to do best is watch the sunset and all the beautiful colors in the sky. Taken in our backyard.
Another from a recent series, taken on an evening when the conditions were just right. These are the roadside wild flowers including cow parsley.
Just found an old sunset photo from 2015, almost to the day. Still a good one. The fog is coming in over Marin County and San Francisco Bay.

Jökulsárlón, Iceland.
Sunset over the Jökulsárlón Lake or Lagoon. In the background you can see the head of the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier which feeds the lake with ice and glacial water. As the icebergs break away from the tongue of the glacier, they drift slowly throughout the lake to the mouth of the lagoon and eventually join the ocean.

The setting sun in late April 2016. By mid summer day the sun will be setting off to the right of this image before its journey back left until it is way off the left hand of the photo setting in mid winter. This vantage point from where I took this photo lets you see 12 months of sunsets as the sun moves from left to right and back again during the year.
The river you can see is the River Trent in North Lincolnshire and over in the distance is Drax power station in North Yorkshire, UK.
