Finding previously taken pictures close to sunset and bringing them to editing. Love the golden color tone during dusk.
Last night we had a sunset I have never seen before - Hail showers out in Morecambe Bay and a part hailbow to the right, reflections off windows in Morecambe on the left - almost Turneresque.
It was an Awesome scene. Sun is going to Sleep. Everywhere is going to be Dark. but this moment is captured.

Tripods are prohibited at the observatory floor, so I hold my heavy camera without breathing and beating.

Lake Chiemsee, the so-called Bavarian Sea, is a popular recreation area southeast of Munich, year-round. But in the early morning or evening hours you can be lucky to enjoy such solitude and tranquillity. Especially in winter. This picture is taken in Chieming, at the east shore of the lake. You can still see big floats of ice on the lake and in the background the Bavarian Alps.

Daß der Chiemsee, das sogenannte Bayerische Meer, ein beliebtes Naherholungsgebiet für München und Oberbayern und eine sehr attraktive Urlaubsregion ist, dürfte wohl allgemein bekannt sein. Und dies das ganze Jahr über. Und dennoch kann man früh morgens oder abends das Glück haben, einen solch herrlichen Anblick für sich ganz alleine geniessen zu dürfen. Ganz besonders jetzt im WInter. Dieses Bild wurde in Chieming aufgenommen am Ostufer des Sees. Auf dem Wasser erkennt man noch die letzten, grossen Eisschollen und links im Hintergrund die Bayerischen Alpen.
