Sun is shining - Bob Marley vs Funkstar DeLuxe (Remix)
We had amazing sunshine and light today and yesterday after a long period of gray, rainy and far too warm days. I just had to get out in the evenings to collect "sun bokehs" with my cam like berries in summer - yum. :)

2021 represents a significant milestone in the history of the Phoenix Railway-Photographic Circle with the celebration of our 50th anniversary by publishing a book to showcase some of the members work, past and present, from 1971 to the present day.
The book contains 14 chapters and 144 pages of photographs depicting the work of over 50 accomplished railway photographers with many differing styles and approaches. It takes an alternative view on photographing the railway scene over the past 50 years.
The book, called 50 Years of Phoenix published on 14th May 2021 with orders now being taken – click on this link to order your copy:

Rare thing to see specially this year. This is port of Bergen few weeks ago. You can see Askoy island in the background.
The maw of the storm, burst apart by the sun victorious. Descending toward the water with a regal stride. A promise of hope for the coming sunset. I imagine myself on that dock. Sitting as my skin absorbs the warmth. The feel of a gentle breeze flowing through my hair. As the clouds of my worries wash away along the river.
I stood for ages to try and photograph this sculpture without anyone in the shot but eventually gave up.
It was actually quite comical - people would get out their car or bus, walk right past the row of people trying to get a photo and walk to the end of the sculpture to look out to sea - the exact same view you get if you stood 10 meters back where we were. Strange
We don't know if this duck dances for the sun to stay, to impress the other ducks or to dry its feathers.
The orange-colored setting sun was shining brightly, burning like fire that day.
The setting sun shining over the landscape, giving the entire landscape an orange hue.
The “line_up“ is a paperwork series I developed since 2010. The “liners” are made out of paper (Din A3/A4),
oil paint and graphite. The theme is the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers.
