The sun worshippers all lined up to enjoy the show. As I told you, there are more tourists in the evening than in the morning. But the Salar is big and you can get away from them.
The sun today, 8 pics stacked in registax. 1/1250s exposure at 100 iso. Taken with my canon 600d through the skywatcher quattro 8"s with a solar filter on the NEQ6 mount.

I've a long time waiting for the moment to come out to the pier and to capture the sun, which will be hidden behind the clouds. But not only this I got by that time, I also received a small bonus in the form of buildings that fit perfectly into the picture. And what a wonderful shape adopted the cloud! Just gorgeous photo.
Over London the Sahara sand whipped up by recent storms turned the sun orange and the afternoon really dark.
The Sun takes over the clouds' colour management :-)

I tend to put in many miles a day when out and about. Subsequently I'm often at a beautiful place when the sun is in an undesired position, like here. The Sun is the boss, as we know. But I click away anyway.....
I try my best in pp to bring back the essence and beauty I remember, not overblown with details lost in the shadows. A good challenge. I thought this special moment and scene was worth a share.
Thanks for taking a look! Always appreciated.
