Around 5 minutes before sunrise at Encounter Bay in South Australia. The completely clear sky and calm waters produced a orange hue that changed in subtlety nearly every minute.

Close up on my new skin from Eudora Beauty. Look at the gorgeous details of the skin and how highligths, shadows and pores are subtlety rendered. Amazing work from my sponsor !!!
Also, you know that I do love piercings, so, here are two amazing ones from Littlefish: Ezili for lips and Ruby for brows. They are all rigged for the majority of Lelutka EvoX heads. They come with a very easy to use hud to customize the look and configure an amazing number of options and colors to achieve your best look.
To complete the look, makeup from YoUnique cosmetics.

I've loved pink Mussaenda for years, but this delicate new white one was quite a surprise! I've been watching ever since my neighbor planted two bushes in her front yard six months ago. I must say I was a bit skeptical about a white Mussaenda... the pink one is so gorgeous. Like Bougainvillea, the flower of Mussaenda is tiny. The parts most people think are the flower are actually specialized leaves or bracts.
But I'm stunned and in awe at her delicacy and subtlety. The elegance of the shadows she casts. Today the golden flower is fabulously on display in the white shadowy tones of this gorgeous shrub.

I wish everyone a lot of health.
Take care.

As I wasnt completely convinced by my first effort at processing this I decided to give it another go with a little more subtlety and restraint. I have a terrible habit of pushing the boundaries sometimes which in its own way isnt a bad thing but often when the composition does all you want then there's no need to do more than is necessary.
Bedruthan is a really top notch location and if you can get an early morning or evening with a low tide and little or no footprints then you couldnt ask for better.
some trees just can't help themselves,
subtlety is not in their nature :)

The wetlands are quite beautiful on foggy mornings. The subtleties are enhanced. Here a blue heron stares off into the mist on an old dilapidated dock. 30 minutes later, the sun was up and fog gone...
Seven nights tonight in the secret grin of your shadow, with a snake in the head, your skewed shoulders, exhausted and wholly dealt with by the power of the basic perceived object: a perceptual act, the acquisition of a skill, a physiological system. I take the gun in my hand and run my fingers down on the smooth cheap steel. I point it at your skull. A middleman waiting for corporate crossovers, a pattern, a form, a new order: the elementโs existence not preceding the whole, neither before nor after it. The pieces take on a sense when assembled; in isolation pieces mean nothing. You disappear, cease to exist. The alarm clock is set on yesterday. D.O.A, blood spilled over the trailing lights, the smell of freight and distant fingers. Soap bubbles of withdrawal crossed by a thousand nights. Burial in the cemetery of your bed, gone away: you can look any place. No good. No Bueno. A blanking die cuts the sheets of cardboard along identical lines, every time. It does not matter what the initial conditions are, itโs not the painterโs technique but the greater or lesser subtlety of the way it has been cut, the plausibility of a resulting combination. One by one, one knuckle at the time, one last word at the time. One of the injured. Move a fin and the world turns. I take the gun in my hand and run my fingers down on the smooth cheap steel. I point it at your skull.

What a super lot you are, the comments I received from yesterdays post were lovely, had me smiling all day. It must go with the creative territory, but you are sensitive souls, and I think we have the same likes, dislikes, passions and worries. I also think the majority of you have the same politics in this turbulent world, but letโs leave that for twitter and keep IG positive. Todays photo, which I think is the last Iโll post of this epic start of the day, as a full on orange jacket is a bit over bearing for me. I donโt know about you but these type of sunrise photos can never compete with witnessing it for real, and as a picture there lacks subtlety and finesse to be a wall hangers. Back on track, I like this photo for two little and hard to see cameoโs. Firstly the beautiful perfectly shaped if not placed motioned blurred flying gull, I could of done with him above the horizon. Secondly do you think the guy on the end of the pier has caught a fish?
Me gusta mucho el tono sobre tono, y sobre todo en blanco, cuando los volumenes los crean las sombras .
Despite being Britain's most common bird the Wren lives unseen much of the time, lurking in thick vegetation and constantly on the move. I am always delighted to see one if only fleetingly as was the case here when I watched this one springing speedily through a dense hedge. Poised for a mere moment with tail cocked this tiny ball of energy (weighing less than 15g) gave me the opportunity to appreciate the subtleties of its beautifully patterned plumage and pace of its world.
Thank you all for your kind responses.
From our spring precovid visit...I find wood storks fascinating. They have so much character and subtlety in the bold, featherless head. maybe its only me?

I went out deliberately on a very overcast day thinking that subtle autumn colours might also be pleasing. I am happy enough with this photo of the trail that leads to Ottawa and beyond.

"In a way, you are poetry material; You are full of cloudy subtleties I am willing to spend a lifetime figuring out. Words burst in your essence and you carry their dust in the pores of your ethereal individuality." - Franz Kafka, Letters to Milena
I have had the pleasure of hearing this famous and much celebrated songster (as in Vaughan-Williams Lark Ascending) on numerous occasions and watched its fluttering song-flight ascending above Hampshire's open country and farmland but a visit to the south east coast at West Wittering gave me my best opportunity yet to watch it feeding on seeds and invertebrates at East Head's salt marsh. The November morning sunlight showed the subtleties of colour in its plumage beautifully making it a highlight of my visit.

All of this wet weather is putting a big dampener on trying to make some decent poppy images. This was an image I made at Swarkestone a couple of weekends ago and even then the poppies had received a lot of damage following the persistent rain. The sun was setting in the opposite direction from which I was pointing my camera, but as I learnt a long time ago, there is often a glow that permeates the whole of the sky. The camera's sensor is particularly adept at recording this subtlety. I was fortunate that I was able to record the rising moon as part of the overall composition.
