Sandy was not happy that I threw out her stash. So she crammed all sorts of stuff in her pouches tonight after her cage was cleaned in order to protect it from me!
This is from our record breaking hot day.
Just dumping some photos from the last month or so. Unedited raw stuff.
Early dinner tonight. Stuffed pork chops, roasted new potatoes, fresh organic asparagus, wheat sourdough with roasted Spanish Piquillo peppers in olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Chipmunk with cheeks stuffed full of seeds from birdfeeeder.

Incredibly easy... 1 egg, 180g dried unsweetened coconut, 100g sugar. Combine, make mounds on a baking sheet, inserting a square of chocolate in the middle and bake at 200 F for 10-15 minutes.

This is a poorly photographed illustration of what I made for dinner last night. My camera battery let me get one shot before its final demise. I made stuffed tomatoes, a la Alton Brown, and portobello mushrooms stuffed with pesto mashed potatoes. And best of all, it was all vegan!
Traditional Czech Easter fare on offer in the Old Town Square. This is a deboned then stuffed and roasted piglet. It's sold sliced by weight.

A holiday charity FlaskMob photo walk in LA, November 2015.
Meet started up in the warehouse in LA's South Central area, and participants were encouraged to bring along toys to donate. Group would then walk over to the fire station by USC to deliver and drop off toy donations.
Shenanigans ensued along the way, and LAPD was curious :)

Looking back at it, Los Angeles' photo meet culture/scene from 2014 to early pandemic years, was really an amazing, next level, experience.
Those events would regularly bring together amazingly creative individuals from different walks of life, from different experiences and backgrounds. They would be foundation of a vibrant and thriving culture and forge lasting relationships for participants involved.
I had stumbled upon the scene in early 2015, as I was getting more serious about learning photography, and participated in my fair share of meets. Figured it would be worth posting shots from those days, just keep a record of that experience.
