One of my friends wanted some studio portraits taken of her and I jumped to the opportunity to practice studio work more. She's into arts and comics so we wanted to include some as props to introduce a personal touch to the portrait.

A new biotech consultancy was ramping up recently in the Boston area. They brought in some agency friends of mine to work on their new marketing materials and strategies. Part of the package was a new set of studio portraits for their biographies page and for their press pieces. Our challenge...

Again not sure who they are. The lady's dress looks like 1860s to me - please feel free to comment. This image does not have the technical quality of the other two. They are holding hands and she appears to be pregnant.

This is my Godfather, Herbert Scott. I believe that this photo was taken before he enlisted in the army to go and fight in the First World War. He was born in 1891 and lived to be 95 despite being wounded in the Battle of the Somme.
