I have been a busy bee. A very busy bee and working until the wee hours of day.
So Ras, being the sweetheart that he is, brought me a Passion Fruit italian soda to perk me up.
The one on the left is mine and the one on the right is the one he made for himself... Peach. Mmmmm.
He is the master of italian soda making. And they are just as sweet as he is. Awww. Thank you Ras!!!
Pardon the mess in the studio there, it was a quick snapshot, didn't have time to tidy up... whoopsy!

Something we shot back in 2008. It's a bit too processed and sharpened for my tastes now, but I do still love the light.
Strobist: Shot more than 2 years ago, so forgive me if it's not exact, but I believe this was:
B1600 into large octabox, high camera left, reflector for some fill camera right, hair light outside of frame above subject and background light was, I believe, bounced into an umbrella for feathered edges. Pretty sure that's right!
Photos of automobiles detailed and shot in AutoDetailer Studio's state-of-the-art Lightroom!
Behind-the-scenes of what goes on behind each car that's detailed to our Signature Series perfection and photographed...
My new studio , which is a log cabin which was errected in just 24 hours though the painting which we did ourselves took quite a lot longer!

Here's my little studio in the woods where I create my lampwork beads. I just love spending time out here. It's my great escape!
CorkStop Studios is an artist's studio in San Luis Obispo County on California's beautiful Central Coast, half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It is home to three contemporary artists: Carol Paquet, Anne Stahl and Xenia Madison. All three are abstract painters and printmakers who are schooled, exhibited and collected internationally.
I shot this for a magazine advert some time ago. Hasselblad 500CM, Ziess 150mm, one main light Profoto PRO-81 with an Umbrella and a small Vivitar flash on a stand behind her to kick some light into the backround. I used a small refector as well.
Some new studio shots today, just a fun session to keep the girls occupied and of course give me some more practice. Madison really is great with posing, she is not afraid of the camera and loves to have her picture taken. She also loves her props! They don't always match but hey she's having loads of fun and that's what counts!

"The Studio" is a 15-foot diameter yurt-like structure originally built and used by a photographer for his office and digital work station. Unlike the other two main structures on the property, the cedar siding was never completed on this building. We are adding a bathroom / laundry room extension. I'm not overly keen on having added a rectangular box to the round building, as I feel it does not compliment the design aesthetic, but... well, never mind, no need to go into the behind-the-scenes decision making process, such as it was. I'll figure out something... even if it means hiding the extension with trees.
