Another practical studio night at the camera club and another chance to try some experimentation. Special thanks to the unsuspecting guest who became my model for a few shots.

Been looking for an alternative to the Zoom R16 for a while now. Today, I finally admitted defeat and bought one.
Now I need to pay for it - anyone want to buy a Tascam US-428 and a Cortex DMix-300?!

A shoot with Jo which initially started out doors but due to the really cold weather conditions ended up back in the studio. A really good shoot with a lovely lady and can't wait to do it again soon.

CorkStop Studios is an artist's studio in San Luis Obispo County on California's beautiful Central Coast, half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It is home to three contemporary artists: Carol Paquet, Anne Stahl and Xenia Madison. All three are abstract painters and printmakers who are schooled, exhibited and collected internationally.

All that's left are Kaylah and Camille's sailboats (self-sailing), and a model of the SR-71 that George gave me.
The windows were installed by Frank and Judy, brought from the basement of their house in San Fransisco. *
I got a huge hit count of me working in the studio and didn't know why. I wondered if it might be the Windows:

* - we lived in that house, too, near the Caffe Trieste, over the hill on .Vallejo street.
- Frank and Judy say that the we got them that house, being there before them. ( I don't remember that.)
- then, they got us this house, which they lived in till they built there 'new' house in the back of the lot.
- that's what friends are for.
