The cylinder which had been machined incorrectly then tapped 2BA to take a blanking stud for re-drilling. Also note the casting has been repaired at some point on both top corners with new metal and also a design change with 8 studs holding the cylinder cover rather than the 5 specified in the drawings, often a common development on the engine. Possibly for ease of machining being symmetrical?

Stuart (a former London stock broker) is a regular at the Internet Cafe I spend half the month working in. Most days he shows up at 11pm, asks for a can of Olde English cider, screws a cigarette between his lips and stares blankly at the TV. Although he may come across as blunt, mildly obnoxious and a tad eccentric, any customer willing to take the time to speak to him will realise he is a highly intelligent character, who not only knows things that many people refuse to believe, but has seen things that most people are not capable of seeing.

A recent Census Bureau analysis found that the majority of women who forgo work to stay home with their children in the United States do so because they lack the education or skills necessary to secure a job. Demographically, America’s stay-at-home moms are likely to be young, Hispanic and living in poverty. Mormon women, though buck the trend. Church doctrine places a heavy emphasis on the family, so while Mormon women tend to be highly educated, they also choose to stay at home with their children at high rates. great moment. we had a nice chat about marx & engels, why they never play that live, and sneaking into the QMU without arousing the janitor's suspicion.

In this view it's possible to see the 2 breaks in the casting which have been repaired. It's also possible to get a feel for the under-sizing of the crankshaft.

Stuart had another bumpy day yesterday and his doctors decided he needed to go back onto the ventilator. They think he may be fighting off another infection so they've started him on another course of antibiotics, and the ventilator will help him save his energy while his body's fighting off those germs.

Of course we would love to see him off the ventilator for good, but from the very beginning we were told that it's not at all uncommon for babies to come off and go back on repeatedly as thier little lungs build up strength. And looking at the bigger picture he had nine solid days off the ventilator this last time, so a little plateau is totally understandable.

Knowing all that doesn't really make it much easier, though. On the brighter side being off the CPAP means we can see his face better.
