For my 33 and Keston's first birthday, Steph rented us an amazing photo studio in Pioneer Square (downtown Seattle). She also rented a 7' Octobox, two 600 watt Elinchrom lights, and a 200MM F2/VR. These are the top 52 of the 800+ photos taken on Sunday. Enjoy!

An avid basketball player, Stuart wanted to incorporate basketball as well as his son in his senior pictures. My thanks to the coach who took time out of his Sunday to let us into the gym..

I tried to get some fairly standard "senior portrait" type of shots as illustrated above in addition to the others we took.

Monument in the south aisle of Canterbury Cathedral by Peter Turnerelli to Lt Colonel John Stuart (d.1808) who died aged 32 in the Battle of Rolera. The deceased is shown being supported in his final moment by the arms of Britannia, whose presence in a cathedral is always a little strange, given her obvious resemblance from the pagan goddess Athena! Such pagan references were common in the late Georgian period and didn't seem to worry the clergy of the time.
