"The Stuart piano's system for attaching the strings to the soundboard differs greatly from traditional piano designs. It also has 97 keys and four pedals rather than the standard 88 keys and three pedals.

"The use of Australian woods also represent a departure from traditional piano design. The blonde-coloured timber is Tasmanian Huon pine from trees felled during the 19th century. The dark reddish wood is she-oak from Western Australia. The soundboard inside is made from King WiIliam pine from Tasmania.

"The Stuart & Sons piano represents a major advance in piano design. Its innovative stringing system allows the strings to vibrate more efficiently, giving greater clarity and a more even range of sound.

"The piano is now made by Piano Australia, a partnership between Stuart & Sons and music company J Albert and Son." - nearby signs.

Got the new linkage assembled today.

For my 33 and Keston's first birthday, Steph rented us an amazing photo studio in Pioneer Square (downtown Seattle). She also rented a 7' Octobox, two 600 watt Elinchrom lights, and a 200MM F2/VR. These are the top 52 of the 800+ photos taken on Sunday. Enjoy!
