Camogli lies on the coast of the Italian Riviera (also called Ligurian Riviera).
This particular part, with 5 small towns (Bogliasco, Pieve Ligure, Sori, Camogli and Recco) is called the "Golfo Paradiso", the Paradise Gulf.

I have visited the Lake District now a couple of times and my love for this stunning part of the country is very strong.
I have witness rain showers sunshine and this wonderful part of the countryside always impresses me in what scenery I have seen.
I need to go back!!!

I shot this image when visiting old friends, and it brings back memories. My roots are just a bit north of there, but the landscape with the fat clay is very similar.
Cycling to school. Every day 15 km x 2. The view close to our home, where my mother still lives today. The land where a I worked after graduating high school to earn some money to get myself a new guitar amp and a train ticket across Europe for holidays.

Sous surveillance...
En ce qui me concerne, c'est par ce spécimen que tout à commencé au début de l'année en ce lieu. Merveilleusement capté par Tony Campbell, Lori Bell, Michel Paquin et Jocelyne Feizo dans les premiers jours de janvier, c'est lui qui m'aura amené à arpenter ce territoire à plusieurs reprises, et ce, sur de longues distances en raquettes. Souvent sortie bredouille de ces randonnées, il faut dire qu'elles étaient tout de même fort agréables, j'aurai enfin réussi à l'observer, et ce de fort belle façon, le jour même où j'ai croisé pour la toute première fois, un des trois spécimens du Hibou des marais qui auront vraiment enchantés les dernières semaines de cet hiver qui n'en finit plus. Au final, je l'aurai croisé à quelques reprises ce si bel Hibou moyen-duc, mais pas lors de cette fabuleuse dernière journée, où notre présence était encore tolérée, où j'aurai capté coup sur coup le Hibou des marais, le Grand-duc d'Amérique et la si charmante et envoutante Chouette rayée. Au moment où je l'ai vu ce matin-là, j'étais déjà sous haute surveillance lorsque mon regard a croisé le sien. C'est moi cette fois-là qui fut surpris en ouvrant tout grand mes yeux devant cet inoubliable regard!
… oder auch 193 368, die die Werbung Starke Cargo/Strong Cargo trägt, war anfang des Sommers 2024 zur regelmäßigen Frist in Gremberg verplant. Nach ihrer Frist ging es auch direkt wieder nach Ostdeutschland, um dort in ihrer gewohnt Umgebung Arbeit zur leisten. Natürlich wurde die Lok nicht einfach so wieder überführt, sondern man hat sie mit einem Planmäßig Zug in Richtung Seelze und dann weiter Richtung Seddin fahren lassen. Ein Glück war es, dass es ein Zug bei Tageslicht war und nicht in der Nacht. So passierte der EZ 51434 von Gremberg nach Seelze die Nordstrecke bei Hamm-Lerche.

I loved the way the sea was on the day I visited Annestown beach. It had a strong surge with big rolling waves with white horses, as you can see here. There were a few surfers out on a few of the beaches of the Copper Coast but I didn’t see any on this beach.

The country houses, mansions of Curaçao (called: Landhuis), built in the 17th till 19th centuries, are usually former plantation houses. There used to be about 100 such small plantations on Curaçao.
This country house was built at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Above the south entrance are three dormer windows of a later date; the middle window is marked Año 1870.

The Rietveld Schröder House in Utrecht was commissioned by Ms Truus Schröder-Schräder, designed by the architect Gerrit Thomas Rietveld, and built in 1924. This small family house, with its interior, the flexible spatial arrangement, and the visual and formal qualities, was a manifesto of the ideals of the De Stijl group of artists and architects in the Netherlands in the 1920s, and has since been considered one of the icons of the Modern Movement in architecture.
