La belle dame en bleu...
Un de mes gros coup de coeur l'année dernière à la petite chute Pelé d'Angrignon, cette belle dame aux teintes variées de vert et d'ocre m'aura encore séduit en ce début de saison Paruline qui démarre tout doucement à Angrignon. Le ruisseau s'est remis à couler depuis le début de la semaine dernière mais encore jusqu'à ce ce jour aucune Paruline et autre oiseau migrateur ne s'y sont présentés, sauf peut-être pour une rare Paruline des ruisseaux qui aura passé furtivement samedi pendant que cherchais à capter cette dame en bleu dans un des boisés se trouvant autour du grand bassin. Il faut travailler fort cette année en comparaison à la dernière où nous avions des conditions extraordinairement facilitantes.

Although the lights were much stronger the previous night, when we unfortunately had some cloud cover, I managed to capure a glow of aurora borealis last night in rural Brandenburg. Amazing to see them so far South.
Another shot of a song sparrow in the blackberry vines. Amazing to me how they can land on these without regard to the thorns. I don't seem to have such luck when I land in them :)

I thought the strong vertical stripes and the street furniture, made for an interesting abstract composition, I had previously processed this in colour, but think it works really well in mono?

This little sparrow was different from the start...he was much smaller than his siblings and couldn´t fly..te had several injuries that meant he couldn´t fly. His mom alway´s fed him from the ground.
He´s grown a lot bigger now and can go where he wants to go. He just hops instead of flying. When he´s looking for shelter he just goes into our thick hedge. Great little guy!
