Escher String Quartet

Here is my progress on my string quilt. Look for a tutorial on my blog at www.thescrapbox-jordannichole.blogspot.com.

Flowers strung along on a string are ubiquitous in temples and adorning girls' and women's beautiful black braids

I took part in "It's a String Thing" from the website tickledtotangle.blogspot.com

The tangles are Amoeba, Amphora, Arrowheads, and Antique.

String of Pearls- another rarely seen item. I am trying to only add pictures of underwater critters that I don't have or are better than previous. This is a shot of the rarely seen String of Pearls.

Early Morning with Bubba Mediocrates at String Lake in Grand Teton National Park

Just a little scanner stuff.

Here's a shot as I've been attaching gunwales, stringers and keel to the bulkhead frames. Zip ties are used to hold things together, yet remain adjustable, until epoxy, and finally pegs and glue will fix things permanently. I had to rig up some weird supports for frames One and Two, as the multi-chine configuration left no room for conventional Yost supports. Yost multi-chined Sea Rider.

the title basically says it all. I was trying to get a pic of what a string pluck looks like, and so I set the camera on multi take, and I must have taken 500 of these things before I got a few semi-decent ones (wait, why did I need to take a picture of a bass string being plucked again?)
