Saturday afternoon found the following locomotives lined up at the north end of the Roundhouse at Spencer: NKP PA-1 190, SOU E8 6900, Erie E8 833, UP E9 949, and NS F9 4271.

Smoke drifts skyward though it is not from the heritage diesels but the coal burning steam locomotive 3801, out of view, as it barks out of Newnes Junction on Saturday, 23 June 2007. As is customary on the RailCorp network, diesel locos 44211 (hidden) and round nose 4201 brought up the rear of this steam service. The rusting stanchions date from Western Electrification which was officially opened in June 1957. Wow 60 years under the wires in 2017 ...

You don't see many interior shots of these types of homes today. We are leaving the bathroom intact. We may replace the flooring with black marble though to upgrade it some.
