This stream runs through Riddiford Gardens, in Lower Hutt. A peaceful green oasis in the city.

This stream is all fresh water coming down from the mountains and runs then into the ocean water area in West Vancouver, BC. Lots of birds like to drink from this water. In the distance can be seen the Lions Gate Bridge which connects the entire West & North Shore areas with Vancouver proper, by going through the Stanley Park roadway.

I miss this place; one day hope to see it again.

A beautiful stream runs along the Lost Pond Trail in the Pinkham Notch area of the White Mountain National Forest, NH, as seen here in October, 2023. I love rivers and streams and I felt right at home here. I'd love to return someday.

We took a wrong turn at Mowich Lake and found ourselves by this stream near dusk.

Dreaming of my mountains.

The Grandes Murailles is a mountain chain located in Aosta Valley between Valpelline and Valtournenche. Lies to the west of Cervinia.

From the left Cresta Albertini and Dent d’Herens , surrounded with clouds Punta Bianca, Punta Carrel and Punta Mara Cristina.

We went to the Ureweras but it was shut! The great walk was closed due to track damage from the snow storm, the camp ground turned us away and the visitor centre wasn't open for 3 days. So we explored a lot of the smaller tracks, streams and trap lines looking for interesting forest to photograph. We came across this scene right near the end of our trip. I was pretty excited! I haven't worked through all the comps yet from this place but will post a couple more probably

As the sun was setting, I hiked through the trail. Hearing thunder off in the distance, I knew I had to go a long way. I approached this little creek running down to the river. I stopped to just take in the scene!
