I enhanced this moon shot in iPhoto, just enough so that I could see a bit of detail with my eyes.

Half wild water caught for many seconds. This view shows what a big heart it's got :) Shot with ND8 filter.
Blown down on the Autumn breeze
From its kingdom in the trees
Guided by fate's sweet hand
Down below, where it does land
On the stone, without a sound
Where it rests and is found
Like a hand inside a glove
Half down below, half still above
Waiting to find a place to go
Surf the stream, sail and flow
Below the towering beauty of the trees
Blown along on the Autumn breeze

I wonder,
does the leaf that lingers
whisper to the ones
still tucked in tight buds?
I think I heard it say
“Behold the sparkles on the stream!
That shall be your work:
You must catch that light
and feed it to the rest."
Rushing water from recent rains and colors starting to show on the stream that feeds Dark Hollow Falls in Shenandoah National Park.
