Flowing water, dancing drops
Stream of fate, that never stops
Twisting, turning, shining bright
Swimming with the rays of light
That descend and they fly
Down from the beautiful endless sky
Above the stream that never stops
With it's flowing water and it's dancing drops
Just born stream from the snoutpoint as spotted on trek to Pachhu Glacier en route Nandadevi East Basecamp in Kumaun Himalayas, India
Right before the sunset, this creek was already shadowed while a hill above it was all lit with orange sunlight. I was lucky to witness these wonderful reflections.
I can't explain the color of this stream in W VA . It was pinkish reflecting the color of the stone below . The color was the same in the 6 images I took .
This small river runs across the Haines Highway between Haines Junction and Kathleen Lake. It's a beautiful spot to stop and have a look around. I have visited this place on a number of ocasions, and on this visit discovered that the river level was quite low, facilitating a shot closer to the centre of the river bed than is always possible.
This photo was taken with the Canon EOS R and RF 24-105mm f/4.0 L mounted to a sturdy tripod and ballhead combination. I used a circular polarizing filter and an ND1000 filter to reduce reflections and extend the shutter time, thus blurring the water somewhat. The finished image is a tone mapped stack of three seperate exposures to capture as much dynamic range as possible on the bright late summer's day that I encountered.
A Trickling stream thaws the silent dawn
while bright eyes wink awake from the water
watching for a twinkling little robin,
red as the ripened berries at Christmas.
This is a close-up photo of sunlight refracting through water patterns in a shallow stream flowing across Clam Harbour Beach.
This stream is all fresh water coming down from the mountains and runs then into the ocean water area in West Vancouver, BC. Lots of birds like to drink from this water. In the distance can be seen the Lions Gate Bridge which connects the entire West & North Shore areas with Vancouver proper, by going through the Stanley Park roadway.
I miss this place; one day hope to see it again.
