beside every stream and waterfall these lilies grow. they are glorious when in full flower. This one has just about finished but was shining in a ray of sunlight coming through the rainforest canopy.

Sunlight filtering into Panther Creek, Washington

Trekking to the crest of the Nohkalikai Waterfall, Sohra, Meghalaya.

The forest, the stream, the rock formations - its straight out of a wild western movie - wilder in fact.

If you're fit enough - do not come back without doing this trek.

According to Wikipedia - this is the tallest plunge waterfall in India - plunging 340 meters from its crest.

I recently stopped by this Fishing Lake/stream where I was raised. Red/Cyan 3D glasses required for viewing.

As the sun goes down it lights up this frozen stream and the snow banks on either side.
