Morning light inside the first floor hallway of an early 1900's era U.S. Marine Hospital in Tennessee.
This hallway consists of mostly patient rooms, but a few storage closets are also scattered about. The large room at the end of the hallway appears to have been a dayroom or common space.

I must have spent about an hour, all alone, by the banks of this stream, close to our campsite.
Usually, on gruelling treks, it is alone time like this that has given me good images.

The view looking South west across the ridge of Antrim Hills that includes Carncormick and Collin Top. A beautiful stream winds its way down. You are never that far away from water in Northern Ireland! I particularly like the lighting in this shot! It just shouts the word "EXplore!".
To prevent livestock straying from the field and into the land on the other side of the railway line an old gate has been placed across the stream. Twigs, small branches and leaves build up and form a dam restricting the flow of water. One of the tasks was to clear the debris. The Kid's Ex-Stream Expo is the largest outdoor environmental education and water safety event for youth in Ohio. It features a variety of opportunities for Cincinnati-area children to get their feet wet learning about Water Safety and the Environment! The Expo will consist of 25-minute, outdoor presentations designed to engage, educate, and entertain young minds. Deep East Texas.
Tree roots have been exposed as the bank has eroded away along this gentle stream that meanders through the Sabine National Forest. Small springfed streams like this one are shallow with sandy bottoms and crystal clear water that stays cold even in summer.
It is hard to capture the magic of last light in the forest, however the woods seemed to glow as I took this shot, just as the sun was casting its final rays.
