Sunlight on ancient rocks and young growth. Darkness beyond.
Most water sources in this region run intermittently over distance and varying greatly by season. Here is a dry stretch of the stream in the canyon, looking deceptively like a path. One can walk along the rocks at the stream bottom, but the going is more difficult than the foot path which is just out of frame.

En directo, vÃa streaming.
my camera was as close to the water as it could be in fact it was getting wet but the result was worth it for me...this was up at blakey ridge on the north yorkshire moors...worth looking at a larger size...
I thought electric and water didn't go together.
These pylons carry the power to and from the sub station near Rayleigh Station.
This stream/brook starts somewhere south of the A127 and joins the River Crouch in Rawreth.
After walking 12km down the Poulter valley, Pete's stream is where we turn off and climb to Binser saddle. Everything is still flowing high and fast after the overnight rain - a serious matter in an area with no bridges.
