Dry Stream

Sunlight on ancient rocks and young growth. Darkness beyond.

 

Most water sources in this region run intermittently over distance and varying greatly by season. Here is a dry stretch of the stream in the canyon, looking deceptively like a path. One can walk along the rocks at the stream bottom, but the going is more difficult than the foot path which is just out of frame.
