Norway. I have just returned from another trip to Norway, again in the far north way above the Arctic Circle, which despite it being winter - predominantly dark and cold - there was a significant lack of snow on the ground...not to worry, the aurora borealis put on a show every night throughout the trip to make up for it. And feed the sleep deprivation!

Haven't done a softy watery shot in ages...

The roaring river found at the foot of mt. Machapuchare. Boulders the size of school buses can be found miles from their original location.

I did try this pattern when it first went onto Tangle Patterns and didn't really succeed with it. But I persevered today and this was the outcome. It looks like lots of clouds with a few hot air balloons in the sky!! This is a little side stream that feeds into Cove Creek in Polk County, NC. You have to cross this on your way to Little Bradley Falls.

Looking over the Cheonggyecheon restoration in Seoul, South Korea. This design overseen by EDAW (AECOM?) daylit a stream long buried by a highway. The stepping stones over the water are a wonderfully bold move, along with the lack of handrails. This treatment makes for an authentic and accessible experience.

A small explore along the stream from Boswiddle Ford.

I couldn't get as far along as I hoped, but still, it satisfied my 'wonder what the view is like round that bend' thoughts.

I need wellies and a bit more spinal flexibility to really get along these streams.

Being in the water, fishing, seemed like such a better idea than just watching.
