This is at Dungeness on the Kent coast in England, it is famous for all disused and unwanted boats scattered along the shore line, I love the sky and the tall grasses blowing in the wind! re-vamped version!
'Seaham Wheels' - Seaham’s Chemical Beach got its name from the nearby ‘Watson, Kipling and Co.’s Chemical Works’.
The wheels here are from an old ‘Chaldron’ wagon that formed part of a train that tipped mine spoil into the sea. A chaldron is a measure of coal, 36 bushels worth. Waste glass from the bottle works where the car park currently stands was tipped directly into the sea here and now washes up as sea glass, all smooth, coloured and worn. Pieces from the small to quite large can still be found.

Whyte Islet is a very small island on the shore of Howe Sound. People hike across the rocks to climb upon this hidden West Vancouver gem. Being aware of the changing tide is very important....the rocky path leading from the beach can quickly disappear when the tide comes in. Many people have been left stranded high and dry on this cute little island. The waterline indicates the water depth reached.

Whytecliff Park is located near West Vancouver's Horseshoe Bay Neighbourhood, the original name of which was White Cliff City, which opened in 1909. In 1914, Colonel Albert Whyte pressed for the spelling change from White Cliff City to Whytecliff. The Whytecliff area is now distinct from Horseshoe Bay. The park, originally Rockcliffe Park, was developed by W.W. Boultbee in 1926, and a private access road was cut from the Marine Drive highway at Batchelor Bay.
The fifty acre Boultbee estate was purchased by the Union Steamship Company in 1939 and the company operated a Bowen Island Ferry from Whytecliff during 1939-41 and 1946-1952
The park is currently home to more than 200 marine animal species and is the first Marine Protected Area in Canada. Sea lions can be seen sunbathing on the beach during summer.

Bahia los Cabos, Mexico. As darkness gave way, I came to the edge of the Sea of Cortez, to walk the wave line on the edge of daylight. The sand hissed with each outgoing wave, and I watched the light before sunrise bend red around the horizon. That this sunrise would be special was not guaranteed. You never know what might happen, it's just a chance you take, a decision to leave a comfortable bed. It is curiosity, anticipation, the explorer in me, perhaps. Alone, I waited to see what the new day would bring. It was easy to imagine myself a castaway on a deserted island, daring the sea for redemption. I sent my hope across an azure sea. I'm here if you are looking, I thought. Don't leave me stranded.
