These boats remain stuck in the mud of Chichester Harbour although the tide is coming in to release them. About two hours after this photograph was taken all of the green areas in the foreground and in the middle of the shot were under several feet of water. High tide - an amazing natural phenomenon which takes place twice a day and has done so for millions if not billions of years!
Chichester Harbour has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Behind it are some of the hills of the South Downs National Park which only came into operation in 2011.
Poor little puppies which I hope will be adopted by others when Khatib Bongsu is gone, can sense the sadness in their eyes when I was there.

My dear friends, sorry for taking time to visit your streams, still quite busy with my daytime job here ;-)
For the past month now, this old decaying boat has been washed ashore in Sharjah (it is another emirate, close to Dubai), and has indeed become an attraction for photographers.
So here is my personal take on her!
7 exposures HDR tonemapped with Photomatix, and one separate long exposure with ND400 for the sea.
Looks like all the Autumnal colours have disappeared for another year. It tends to make my thoughts turn to black & white.
Thanks for all he comments and favs on my previous post.
When we go through the process of dealing with raging emotions, it can feel as if we are closed off from the world. The deeper truth that we are inherently connected to everything around slips through our fingers... but it only takes a moment of grounding to realize that often, blinded by pain, we are the creators of our very own isolation 🌊 (and what you create, you can change)
That's what I see in this, however, feel free to come up with your very own interpretation 💙

As the photomode adds fog, I could use that to find the real fog parameters in the engine. The photomode goes from 1 to 10, the new tools go to 200, so you can create shots like this.
Such a quiet morning along this artistic shipwreck I love how the fog hugs this piece of history and not any footprints around making this a very minimalistic picture. This shipwreck is just bare bones now, but it was once a 275-foot-long, four-masted steel barque sailing vessel out of Liverpool, England. The wreck occurred October 25, 1906 as the ship struggled through a storm on its way to the mouth of the Columbia River. Luckily, no ghosts haunt the ship remains – the entire crew made it safely to shore. Captain Lawrence's final toast to his ship was: "May God bless you, and may your bones bleach in the sands."
