Some context for the spherical pano posted recently. Looking upstream along the main estuarine reach of the Hunter River towards Stockton Bridge. Baiame's camera gimbal can be rotated to a vertical alignment while in flight - handy, but resultant frames are too tall for my taste, so I've chopped a bit off the top and bottom here.
Wilson Muuga is still stranded, and not possible to get the ship back to sea. Most of the oil on board was pumped to tanks on land, but 80 tonns of oil is missing ...and therefore spilled to the sea. :-(((
I've always wanted to stop and shoot this old relic on Lake Ontario's shore. Thanks for stopping www.flickr.com/photos/sassylassy22 :-)

An old shot from my previous trip to Oman back in February this year. A good old fashioned tonemapped HDR (which tends to become a rarity on my photostream). I used Dynamic Photo HDR which somehow gave more natural results than Photomatix.
So its been a loong while, mainly because I haven't had the foggiest idea of what to take pictures of.
That changed when I wanted to make my own OC Lego characters, and whipped up this one: I like the jacket (Flintlocke's) as well as the arm and hair, but I am not sure about the legs...
I don't really like the fact that the red doesn't stand out on the legs as it should to match the jacket. Idk, what do you guys think?
Shore platforms in Tasman NP are frequently littered with strands of large kelp, ripped from adjoining reefs by storm waves.

Shot this at Katherine's! The surreal feel was of course inspired by Ben Zank.
