I love when the clouds layer up and operate at different speeds. I can just watch them for a while. Maybe not hours, but I've never really tried.....

Speaking of... we're supposed to be getting a winter storm this weekend; arriving Friday afternoon and staying through Sunday. Possibly getting up to 10in! We'll see...

So many of the trees were totally covered with moss. While it was very pretty, I don't know how good it is for the trees to be covered in this way.

I take a lot of photos of the planes that fly over Capitol Hill, many at low altitude, like this one.

When you want to be fit and comfortable together

While we waited for our interminably delayed train into Boston, I snapped some photos of the Worcester Train Station, which is a historic building in its own right.

i was under the tree looking straight up. i had thought it would look cool. and, lo' and behold, i was right. :-)

Took the pup for her first long walk since before Thanksgiving. Between the kennel cough and the eye surgery, it's been that long since she's been allowed any exercise. We went over to Forest Hills Cemetery and stuck to the wild area. While we were taking a break I saw a coyote trotting over by the compost piles. Yep, lots of wild life inside the city limits.
