This is obviously an old building but has no historical marker and I was not able to find out what it was. It is very near the D.A. Young Building, which was originally a store, so perhaps it was a storage building associated with it. My friend, John (Flipintex), who lives in Kyle, inquired about it at the Visitor Center but they weren’t able to tell him anything.

There are numerous reasons why you may consider using warehouse storage. Whether you need short term or seasonal storage, preparation is essential. Without preparing your items properly, even the best storage facility can do little to prevent degradation of your goods.
When packing your items, consider the quality of the packing materials. Boxes used for warehouse storage solutions should be sturdy and properly taped. Bubble wrap and paper are often chosen to wrap items. Choose the right packing material that consider the item’s safety, but should also deter any build-up of moisture or fungus during warehousing and distribution.
Such build-ups are the reason why all items should be thoroughly dried before they’re packed away. When packing seasonal items on a wet season, it’s possible that everything going into storage is damp. Failing to dry them out effectively could ruin all your stock for the following year. Labelling of boxes is also essential. While the warehouse have a logistics system for finding your stock, they’ll need to identify it when it first arrives.
It’s also important to carefully choose your storage solution. Look for warehouse storage with the latest in warehouse management systems and the capacity you need for your items.

This is a pic I snapped of a storage room in the same sports centre in Adelaide that had the old climbing wall. I was intrigued by the large amount of colourful kids play equipment. There was all sorts of early stage gymnastics and sports kit... would have great to witness some kids 'play'.

Bike racing fan of the 80's was not only about the racing, the innovation around access to watch saw a revolution.
This era of the 80's saw the beginnings of Satellite TV, suddenly access to these races for generality across continents was possible. We were in a world where we could now follow riders, racers across a season, at the time also free.
That is, if you had a satellite dish.
Eurosport, and those early German channels were a great way into the world of Grand Prix, Superbike, Club racing. Following a British rider as said through a season was of course a new luxury.
Up's and downs of a year in racing to view in real time was to me a new exciting innovation in access.
Scotland's Niall Mackenzie timing wise was among those in this new media of satellite tv. Print media readership was still strong, social media was not a thing as now where riders can manage their own content to a degree. With that in mind.
Took it upon myself to file up what was in storage at my once parents house and garage. The T-Shirts I kept going and do pick up occasionally even still now. Old racing T's now a collectable it appears..

Mackenzie files really are a source file, looking at 80's 90's which was a golden age really racing wise.
