This fine and solid stone building dating from at least the 1850s is now a ruin. The question is whether someone might invest to restore it (perhaps as a Bed and Breakfast). More than likely it will disappear into the mists of time and eventually collapse completely. It is a sad situation, and yet those stones could tell a story. Perhaps this place is even haunted by its own ghost.
The sign reads:
It was built in 1875. One of the chief tenants was Jack McDonald, a Scotch-Irish miner and a previous owner of the 7:30 Mine. The jail closed in 1915.

Glamis Castle, is perhaps the most beautiful and well-preserved castle in Scotland. It is located north of Edinburgh and next to the small town of Glamis. I am not going to extend more in the history of the castle, because I already did it in the photo of it (see photo on the second page of my gallery)
This is a beautiful corner of the garden that I photographed while waiting for the rest of the group.
I ignore the usefulness of this small tower in the center of the garden.

Este es un bello rincón del jardín que fotografié mientras esperaba al resto del grupo.
Ignoro la utilidad de esta pequeña torre en el centro del jardín.
In the chapel at Lotherton Hall. I think the building itself and some of the windows date back to the 12th century but this beautiful stained glass window, showing what looks like Mary and her child, is a memorial to a lady called Evelyn who died in 1928. I liked the colours and the details in the glass.
