Back in time, foour years ago I catched my first "Maxima"... on last september taking pictures along the Maintal near Wurzburg I had had a "flashback" with the Stock Br264.001 running in the same place, on the same time with the same train! (29/10/15)

The 1973 Stock was built by Metro Cammell (Washwood Heath) in 1974-77 for the Piccadilly Line, replacing 1959 Stock. They are currently the second oldest trains in daily public use operating on the Underground (after the Bakerloo's 1972 Stock).

Tay Bridge's pilot 08736 removes the stock off the recently arrived 2L31 08.44 Glasgow Queen St to Dundee stopping service. The pilot will move the stock out past the signal box and propel it into one of the two dock platforms. 40066 can just about be seen in the station behind.

Record shot - a scarce bird in these parts.
I've only recorded them on the same fields as much larger groups of feral pigeons, but always much further away.

1938 stock seen at Ravenscourt Park while working a Ealing Broadway - Moorgate heritage tour 24/2/19.
A lovely walk in Goit Stock woods near Harden in West Yorkshire yesterday and I came across this waterfall. I tried to do a long exposure without any movement in the leaves. A very pretty place.
This is the rear of a Central Line train of 1962 stock at Bank Station. A few people are waiting including a bowler hatted city gent, all seem unhurried and dignified. I assume Peter chose the rear end of the train to get the best angle on the curve of the tunnel.
Peter attempted a number of pictures in the London Underground system, most are unsharp and usually under exposed. This was because of the slow film of the time; he pushed the exposure too which has resulted in grain. I have selected a few pictures, some of which are atmospheric rather than "pin sharp" record pictures.
I have no in-depth knowledge of London Underground therefore there will be errors in the captions, I have no reference books on the system apart from a 1963 Ian Allan abc and the web.
Courteous corrections are welcomed, exclamation marks are not.
