Climbing to the top of the Upper Rock of Gibraltar along the Mediterranean Steps. [In explore on 25 Jan 2020]
Very occasionally you find yourself in the right place at the right time with the camera. I was traveling back from a family day out and noticed the fog rolling in off the sea by Bedruthan Steps on the North Cornwall Coast. I parked the car in the National Trust car park and legged it towards the cliff edge. There was some wonderful light just as the sun dipped behind the fog - but it only lasted for a few minutes.
Life is a series of steps... some big, but most are small.. and just as important. Captured at that moment, in between one of those small steps.

Canon A-1, Tamron 70-210 f3.5 via an adapter, Ilford FP4 film, Ilford ID11 developer, then scanned for CS5.

By the time I got to the bottom of the hill, the sun had set even further and was lighting under the arches of this bridge with a golden hint of a reflection in the water.

Many holidays as a child in Millport; and this is the house I most associate with those times. Access was via these outside steps.
Even today they bring back fond memories!
