I got invited to take photos at the movie premiere of Aimuldir – The Soul of a Burkitshi, a heart warming story of a small girl who became an eagle huntress in Mongolia. The short film by director Oliver Klink and producer Jackson Nichols was screened at an art gallery in Palo Alto, California. Returning to the car after the event, Oliver and Jackson discussed the feedback they got on the film.
I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Carnewas & Bedruthan Steps
The name Bedruthan Steps, applies to both the beach and the stacks, originally referred to the perilous steps that were hewn out of the cliff face. Carnewas, in Cornish Karn Havos, means rock pile of summer dwelling and Bedruthan, in Cornish Bos Rudhen, means Red One's dwelling.
The signs at the top of the 149 steps taking you down to the soft golden sand of Bedruthan Beach warns visitors not to swim in these waters due to heavy rips, fast tides and submerged rocks. The one mile of the beach |(1.5km) of the beach is highly dangerous at ALL stages of the tide so swimming and entry to the water should not be considered even in calm conditions such as today. Calm water is a rare thing along this stretch of coastline. I just struck it lucky having such calm conditions today.
When walking on this stretch of beach be very aware of high tide times as the beach disappears completely. The beach is usually closed from 1st. November to 28th. February.
The weather is due to change next week and I will try to get back and retake a picture from the same point so this beach can be seen on a wilder day.
I have also posted a video clip.
. . . for a Saturday !
And closed at this time. . . .
and apparently for good reason.
i surely wouldn't want to try to navigate those steps!
They don't even have a handrail!

The steps up to what is one of the best views in Staffordshire in my opinion, feel free to share yours if you have a better one :)
Steps in Mooloolaba beach at high tide. I had been panning to go back to this location for a while as I really like that rock and was wishing for a better sunrise but it was a bit overcast. The long exposure was able to capture some of the limited colours displayed.
Steps of the old pedestrian tunnels in the abandoned tunnels at Euston. Now blocked off you can see the tunnels as they were at the time they were closed.
Two hundred granite steps make their way up the hillside on Asticou Terraces. Although a moderately steep climb there are several terraces where it is possible to rest and admire the view of Northeast Harbor in the distance. The climb ends at the top of the hill and opens to the beautiful Thuya Garden. Northeast Harbor, Mount Desert Island, Maine.
Savoy Way, London. Steps leading up to The Strand and The Savoy Hotel main entrance from the service road where deliveries are made and staff cigarette breaks are taken.
Bedruthan Steps is a stretch of coastline located on the north Cornish coast between Padstow and Newquay, in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom.
Currently you are unable to get down to the beach since the NT have closed the steps due to a cliff fall, so the only view is from the top.
