The 1st- 6th Workshops took place in St. Petersburg (Russia) in 1994, 1996, 1998, 2001, 2005 and 2009. The Seventh International Workshop on Simulation took place in Rimini in May 2013, the Eighth Workshop took place in Vienna in September 2015, and the Ninth one in Barcelona in June 25-29 2018.

👩🔬 Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania and its largest city, with a population of 580,020 as of 2020. The population of Vilnius functional urban area, that stretches beyond the city limits, is estimated at 697,691 (as of 2017), while according to statistics of Vilnius territorial health insurance fund, there are 728,032 permanent inhabitants (as of December 2019) in Vilnius city and Vilnius district municipalities combined. Vilnius is in the southeast part of Lithuania and is the second largest city in the Baltic states. Vilnius is the seat of the national government of Lithuania and the Vilnius District Municipality.
Vilnius is classified as a Gamma global city according to GaWC studies, and is known for the architecture in its Old Town, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Before World War II, Vilnius was one of the largest Jewish centres in Europe. Its Jewish influence has led to it being described as the "Jerusalem of Lithuania" and Napoleon named it "the Jerusalem of the North" as he was passing through in 1812. In 2009, Vilnius was the European Capital of Culture, together with the Austrian city of Linz.

The new Phoenix is truly a remarkable warplane.
Protected by thick universal armor and unrivaled ruggedness (just think P-47 Thunderbolt).
She heavily armed with four 20mm machine guns and another four 20mm cannons, all of which have plenty of ammunition, makes the Phoenix a lethal fighter plane capable of pumping huge amounts of lead into its targets.
And upon the redesigning of its engine, and the addition of the paddle turbo-prop contra-rotating propellors, the new engine set very surprising top speeds of 789 km/h and with a service ceiling of 42,000 feet makes it a considerable interceptor.
While performing at its service ceiling, it can be used as an effective high-altitude interceptor, while at lower altitudes it can outspeed, out climb, out turn and generally out perform virtually another other type of single engine piston aircraft.
But as the High Command was celebrating their success, the engineers informed them that the new plane had a range of 1,932 km, and will only be useful as an interceptor rather than a bomber escort. The problem was solved, however, by adding attachments to allow rockets and more importantly, fuel tanks. Even so, the Phoenix does not possess the range of the other Artanican warplanes. And after its slight climbing weakness was discovered, it was quickly rectified. It now has the ability to climb at a considerable rate.
And for those of you that are wondering: these are not original stats. They are exact copies of the real XP-72 prototypes.

According to national statistics the population in Naryn Oblast has limited access to health care services and faces health concerns, such as child and maternal mortality that are higher than national average rates for the rest of the country. In response to this challenge and to increase access to high-quality health care and promote quality of life by maintaining international standard of health service, the Aga Khan Health Services established the Aga Khan Medical and Diagnostic Centre (AKMDC) in Naryn which was inaugurated in May 2016. AKMDC is a private and not-for-profit consultation and diagnostic centre.
The Centre, operating under a licence issued by the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan, is staffed with qualified doctors, nurses and paramedics to provide reliable and affordable services in gynaecology, obstetrics, cardiology, family medicine and paediatrics.
Equipped with a general x-ray, Doppler ultrasound, ECG services, gastro-endoscopy services with generous support of the Government of Canada and the AKDN, the Centre offers full laboratory services including biochemistry, pathology and haematology tests. A well-equipped and well-stocked high quality pharmacy is available to accommodate to the patient’s needs.

Just finished my dreaded advanced statistics exam. It felt manageable as I could even walk out ahead of time. Got myself a donut as reward.
Well, I happened to notice my statistics today indicated I have passed the 9 million view mark - which means - I have added 3 million views in the last year.
I honestly think that 99% of them are due to an inflated method by which Flickr counts views.
However, for those of you who are honest viewers, I appreciate your enjoyment and hope to continue bringing a smile or wince your way in the years to come...
