According to national statistics the population in Naryn Oblast has limited access to health care services and faces health concerns, such as child and maternal mortality that are higher than national average rates for the rest of the country. In response to this challenge and to increase access to high-quality health care and promote quality of life by maintaining international standard of health service, the Aga Khan Health Services established the Aga Khan Medical and Diagnostic Centre (AKMDC) in Naryn which was inaugurated in May 2016. AKMDC is a private and not-for-profit consultation and diagnostic centre.

The Centre, operating under a licence issued by the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan, is staffed with qualified doctors, nurses and paramedics to provide reliable and affordable services in gynaecology, obstetrics, cardiology, family medicine and paediatrics.

Equipped with a general x-ray, Doppler ultrasound, ECG services, gastro-endoscopy services with generous support of the Government of Canada and the AKDN, the Centre offers full laboratory services including biochemistry, pathology and haematology tests. A well-equipped and well-stocked high quality pharmacy is available to accommodate to the patient’s needs.

Quality statistics are, by definition, data that are fit for purpose. This session will cover some of the main expectations

and requirements of data users at international, national and subnational levels and how a statistical framework on

MST should cater to these needs.

Simplification of every task related to research will not just make the task of a scholar easier, but will also help the supervisors, review committee and the peer group to understand the research done by him. To make Dissertation Statistics easy to follow, it is necessary to use standard tests and explain the results in a concise manner.

Arthur Frederick "Solly" Hofman (b: on October 29, 1882 in St. Louis, Missouri; died March 10, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri at age 73) was a MLB player from 1903 to 1916. He played the majority of his 1,175 professional games in the outfield.

His nickname was "Circus Solly". Some attribute this name to a comic strip of the era, while others attribute it to spectacular catches while fielding. He is considered by some to be the first great utility player in baseball due to his versatility.

Rolly: I've cleaned up the data and imported it into the spreadsheet.

Zoe: Thanks, Rolly. I'll sort out the statistics and then we can go for breakfast.

Rolly: I have to say this is a ridiculous time of day to be working on your statistics.

Zoe: Sorry, Rolly. I can only agree, but it won't take long and then after breakfast we can have a walk down to Cardiff Bay to see the Welsh Assembly building.

Rolly: And I'm supposed to be impressed by that?

Every year the Bureau of Labor Statistics surveys about 13,000 individuals to find out how Americans are spending their time. As the unemployment rate doubled from 5% to 10% from 2007 to 2009 during the economic recession, you might think that Americans would be spending the extra time to better qualify themselves for employment through an online education or a traditional college when the opportunity presents itself. Unfortunately, the statistics seem to indicate otherwise.

Roy Thomas Hartsfield (b: October 25, 1925 – d: January 15, 2011 at age 85) was a second baseman and manager in MLB; his MLB playing and managing careers each lasted three years. Hartsfield played his entire major-league career with the Boston Braves (now the Atlanta Braves) from 1950 to 1952. He was then traded to the Brooklyn Dodgers for outfielder Andy Pafko. Hartsfield spent the next 19 years in the Dodgers organization as a minor league player and manager and major league coach. In the latter role, he worked under Los Angeles skipper Walter Alston for three seasons.

Hartsfield was a successful pilot at top levels of minor league baseball, with the Spokane Indians (1967 / 68) and the Hawaii Islanders (1973 / 76) of the Pacific Coast League . In 1977 , Hartsfield was hired as the first-ever manager of the expansion Toronto Blue Jays by the Jays' first general manager , Peter Bavasi , who had worked with him in the Dodger organization.

Hartsfield managed the Jays from 1977 to 1979, compiling a record of 166–318 (.343) in 484 games, and finishing last in the American League East Division each season. Unpopular with the Blue Jays players, and having lost over 100 games in each of his three years as manager, Hartsfield was let go at the conclusion of the 1979 season and replaced by Bobby Mattick.

Today's San Francisco Chronicle reported that 800 people are hit by cars per year in San Francisco. In 1926-27, it was apparently about 2400 people per year.
