Artist Statement: My photography is a peek into what I value in day to day life. I try to add a twist to each piece, giving moments more meaning. I like to capture moments with the people, places, and things I love most. My photography features dark backgrounds, allowing shadows, light, and neutral colors to brighten my photos.

Red on one side and blue on the other. do you suppose this is some sort of a political statement?

Messed up the original exposure on this one. It was near dark when I shot it, but luckily, having shot it RAW I was able to ramp up the exposure and tidy it up a little.

Note-Grids are a tool for collecting and connecting objects of thought (in this case, words).

They treat words and other manifestations of thought as objects that can be freely manipulated to create new meaning.

They break meaning up into individual words to facilitate a more fluid, intuitive, and improvisational approach to knowledge production.
