Once an incredibly busy and complex plant, by 1995 State Line was a shadow of its former self. Many of the secondary tracks had long since been removed, and even the C&WI and Monon main lines had been abandoned.
On Saturday 18th June 2011 we went along to see the Moscow State Circus who where performing in the grounds of Chester Racecourse. I have to say it was an amazing show and one we'll be doing again next year!

Museum Building (1936)
Guernsey State Park is located in southeastern Wyoming. The Park contains numerous recreational structures which were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930's.
Utah State University destroyed the Weber State Wildcats in a non-conference game in Logan on September 14, 2013 by a score of 70-7. The USU students were obviously enthusiastic.
The 2013 E-Summit:: Outlook, Options, Obstacles, was held at the Sheraton Eatontown on May 2.

I love those vertical (OK, they're horizontal, but they are on a vertical structure) stripes in the brickwork; note also the graffiti.
The Valley Catholic Charisma Dance Team won the OSAA Dance and Drill state championships in the 4A/3A/2A/1A classification on March 18 at the Oregon City High School. This is the seventh state championship for the team since 2010.

The Mossy Creek Nature Trail winds along a woodland stream
The 2011 Presidents Brunch before the Central Michigan football game highlighted two MSU scholarship recipients and the endowment holders who made their scholarship awards possible. An annual celebration that the Spartan community of donors holds dear, the September 24 event also included remarks from Coach Mark Dantonio, Athletics Director Mark Hollis, Trustee Joel Ferguson and President Lou Anna K. Simon. Guests went on to cheer the Spartans to victory against Central Michigan University.
Empire State Building
The Empire State Building Is today the best-known symbol of New York City. Its name, Its profile , and the view from its Summit are familiar the world over, and a visit to New York Is generally conceded to be incomplete without a trip to the Empire State Bullding's observatory.
The Empire State was the final and most celebrated product of the skyscraper frenzy produced by the economic boom of the 1920s, and the most prominent of the modernistic towers that created the midtown skyline in those years. Its completion in April, 1931, on the former site of the Waldorf·Astoria Hotel, marked the transformation of midtown from New York's preeminent residentlai area for the social elite Into the commercial center of the metropolis.
The engineering and construction of the Empire State Building were perhaps the most awesome accompllshments of its creators. Its design, in many ways shaped by the constraints of time, cost, and struct ure, was the finest work of architect William Lamb, chief designer for Shreve, Lamb S Harmon. The slender, modernistic silhouette he created fit the building so well that even today, when it is no longer the tallest, it remains one of the handsomest of New York's skyscrapers.
With the decline in construction which accompanied the Depression, ard the tendency in the post-war period toward shorter, denser office buildings, the Empire State at 1250 feet remained the world's tallest until the 1970s, when the Sears Building in Chicago took the title of world's tallest. Yet despite the loss of the title, the Empire State Building remains New York's most widely recognized symbol and the city's quintessential landmark.
