State Capitol, SLC, UT
The first capitol building of Utah was built in Filmore, but it was only used for that purpose for one year. Later the Salt Lake City Council Hall served as meeting place for the legislature. The statehood was granted to Utah in 1896.
The Salt Lake City and County Building served as the capitol building until 1916, the year when the present building was finished.
The Capitol, which is 404 feet (123 m) long, 240 feet (73 m) wide was built between 1912 and 1916. The granite of the building and the copper of the dome are both from Utah. An extensive and expansive reconstruction took place between 2004 and 2008.
In the movie Legally Blonde 2 Utah State Capitol was used for exterior and interior shots of the U.S. Capitol.
Penn State York hosted the Invent Penn State Regional Meeting on November 17, 2017, which gave people the opportunity to visit a variety of innovative businesses in downtown York, including the future site of York campus’ Launchbox.

About two months ago I was westbound on State, waiting on this light one foggy evening, and looked up through my windshield to see this scene. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me at the time (*smacks forehead*). Ever since, I've waited for a similar foggy night when I was free to get out there and take this!
Even here, it isn't actually all that foggy. It was a very light rain, which made for a heck of a time trying to keep my lens clear. I think the mist added somewhat of a "brushstroke" effect to the background.
Guernsey State Park is located in southeastern Wyoming. The Park contains numerous recreational structures which were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930's.

The Fort Knox Eagles competed in the 2014 state swimming meet at the Ralph Wright Natatorium in Louisville. The Eagles scored 14 points during the meet.

The State Line Restaurant. The restaurant sits on the State Line between New Mexico (City of Sundland Park) and Texas (City of El Paso).
Sky Meadows State Park is a 1,862-acre (754 ha) park in the Virginia state park system. It is located in extreme northwest Fauquier County, Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains, near Paris, Virginia. It is about an hour outside of the Washington, D.C. metro region.
The park was formed when Paul Mellon donated 1,132 acres (458 ha) of land in 1975. The name Sky Meadows came from former owner Sir Robert Hadow, who named the property "Skye Farm" after an island in Scotland. It has expanded its borders twice since then—248 acres (100 ha) were added in 1987, containing the Appalachian Trail, and in 1991 Mellon donated an additional 462 acres (187 ha), bringing the park to its present size.
It is located near Paris, Virginia off US 17, one mile (1.6 km) south of US 50 and seven miles (11 km) north of Interstate 66.
It starts in a valley between the foothills and the Blue Ridge Mountains, then has meadows and forests stretching up to the ridge of the mountain and the Appalachian Trail.
There is a basic walk-in campground, over 12 miles (19 km) of hiking trails and 6 miles (10 km) of bridle paths. The horse trails are east of US 17 and the hiking trails (and most of the park) is west of US 17.
With a combination of meadows, grazed fields, forest, scrub, and streams, it has a wide variety of ecological zones.
Most of the year, there are monthly "astronomy nights" where amateur astronomers bring their telescopes and use them to show attendees various celestial objects. Typically, an astronomer from the Smithsonian Institution is among the leaders.
Sky Meadows is a year-round bird watching site. It is known for a colony of red-headed woodpeckers that live in an oak grove just past the contact station. Depending on the time of the year, it is almost certain that this and the other six species of woodpeckers—downy, hairy, red-bellied, yellow-bellied sapsucker, pileated, and northern flicker—commonly found in this part of Virginia will be present.
Except for "astronomy nights", the park closes at dusk, and campers must be in the park and others out of the park at that time.

L'ancienne bibliothèque de la Cour est un chef-d'œuvre de l'architecte baroque Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach et de son fils Johann Emanuel. Aile indépendante du Palais impérial construite dans la première moitié du XVIIIe siècle, c'était la plus grande bibliothèque d'Europe de l'époque baroque.
Imposante avec ses quelque 80 m de longueur et 20 m de hauteur, la Salle d'apparat de la Bibliothèque est coiffée d'une coupole qu'ornent des peintures de Daniel Gran. Plus de 200 000 volumes sont conservés ici, notamment les 15 000 œuvres que contenait la bibliothèque du prince Eugène de Savoie ainsi qu'une des plus vastes collections d'écrits réformateurs de Martin Luther.
