Exposure approx 5mins with lights on for interior and all night for startrails

It was "Sia-goru" campsite, it is coldest, barren land place near hampta pass. Sia-goru means where animals feel cold.

After dinner I setup my camera outside the tent and pull shutter cable inside the tent and took ~65 photos.

This is my first attempt to create Star-trail so suggestions are welcome.

Star trails at night over the Swan River

Something new I learned in the recent workshop I attended - Time Lapse. This short 12-second video is made from 377 still images, shot over a 2-3 hour timeframe.

This is the same set of images that I used to make my star trail images that I posted recently.

I never realized what went into making these movies!

My next step, is to figure out how to combine more than one session, and add music to it :-)

Startrails from my auto-cam, with 2 relatively faint Gemenid meteors,and a random fireball. The red patch was caused by a short burst of aurora.Composed of 96, 40 second exposures, taken between 0036 and 0152 UTC on the 14th December 2013
