these photos are from the tech rehearsal of Collaboration!, which was performed this weekend at the Cowell Theatre in San Francisco
Old lights galore. We still use all of them too, just not for anything that needs a good amount of light.
I had the opportunity to do some of the photography for the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers concert at Holy Names University in Oakland. The group always puts on a great show and Alasdair Fraser brings out the best in them.

I was really happy with this image until I saw some of the pyro shots on the NBC site from last nights opening ceremony of the Olympics. Guess I could have done a little better if I wasn't running a lighting console at the same time! This is a shot from a convention we are doing in North Carolina this week. This pyro shot was done as the CEO made his first appearance.

A small conference with a tiny lighting rig can still look good. Two Martin MAC 250's were shoe horned into event the smallest event, as was the fashion at that time.

Today I photographed a dance show with dancers from the age of 4 to the age of 20. This is my favourite shot that I took from the performance.
