A rather ethereal sunrise across the Pembrokeshire Coast. It was a wonderful morning to be out on the clifftops as I made my way out to Barafundle Bay. The colours were just magical as the sun came over the headland lighting up the sea.
Stackpole Head lit up by the mid day sun, with the dark early clouds having moved away. Down by the seaside , by Led Zeppelin is certainly true, and it's one of our favourite seaside walks .
whilst walking the Bosherston Lakes one the Stackpole Estate, Pembrokeshire this moss covered tree caught my eye. It was a gorgeous green which brightened up a dull day.
Mein 30.330. Foto.
A dramatic Stackpole head pierced with caves and holes, and backed by grey clouds. The Chambers and the Valves is a great track by Dry the rIver, and is sort of suitable, there are certainly chambers, and the through cave is a bit like a valve.
A brilliant walk around the Stackpole coastline in Pembrokeshire on a perfect day. Stackpole Head was as dramatic as ever, so Head first into paradise , by Scott Matthews, sums up the shot well.
The holiday cottage I'm staying in in Castlemartin has a lovely framed photograph of Barafundle Bay at sunrise. The picture inspired me to try and match it, (or better it), during my stay here. So far we have had some nice sunsets, but the dawns have been poor. However, the forecast this morning was favourable, so I left the Cottage just before 5 am to set off for nearby Barafundle.
I parked at Stackpole Quay and made my way over the clifftops. I couldn't resist this sunrise shot at Stackpole on my way. So here is another taster, quickly edited on my laptop. I'm saving the Barafundle Bay shot for when I get home and get to a bigger screen and all my software.
I hope to get one of my shots from down here framed and put on the lounge wall. Its been a great week thus far.

The Stackpole, Moore, and Tryon Building is a historic commercial building at 105-115 Asylum Street in downtown Hartford, Connecticut. Built in the mid-19th century, and extensively altered in 1896, it is a good local example of a period building with a Beaux Arts cast-iron facade. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 137
This is a lovely bay, I have no idea what its name is, on the Stackpole Coast. I had to take this shot into the sun so the cliffs are all in shade but never mind the spray being blown backwards by the wind off the top of the waves was what I wanted to capture.

Coit Tower, Fresco murals in the American Social Realism style (1934) - Not (yet) removed or erased, or in any other way culturally cancelled by the SFAC (San Francisco Arts Commission) like they did to Colombus statue which was beautifully standing before the Coit tower until 2020.
Coit Tower is a 210-foot (64 m) tower in the Telegraph Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, California, offering panoramic views over the city and the bay. The tower, in the city's Pioneer Park, was built between 1932 and 1933 using Lillie Hitchcock Coit's bequest to beautify the city of San Francisco.
The art deco tower, built of unpainted reinforced concrete, was designed by architects Arthur Brown, Jr. and Henry Howard. The interior features fresco murals in the American Social Realism style, painted by 25 different onsite artists and their numerous assistants, plus two additional paintings installed after creation offsite.

I love limestone cliffs, and these at Stackpole Head in Pembrokeshire are stunning against the blue green sea. It was a day of clearing skies, so Chase the dark away by Jim White is OK
We had a brilliant day walking the Stackpole to Bosherton cliffs recently, which has to be one of my favourite walks. Every time you walk it there's always a different highlight, and this time it was Spring Squill. Even though it's an insignificant flower on its own, en masse it's just this delicate blue carpet! It doesn't come over well in photos, and this was the best I could manage! Splendor in the grass by Simon Felice is just right!

On the cliff walk at Stackpole the sheep roam about and, inevitably, their fleece gets caught on the bushes. There were no clouds to define the sky just milky sheet cloud unfortunately hence the white out sky. Hey Ho, you can't win the all.
Another shot from a dip into the archives.A favourite walk of ours was always around Bosherton Lilly Ponds, Stackpole Quay, Barafundle , Stackpole head and back for a cream tea at the Olde Cafe in Bosherton. I really miss that walk. We would always stop at this spot and sue would normally do a watercolour sketch while I took photos. If only the sea wa sthsi colour in the Bristol Channel :))) I hadn't spotted the movement of the foam in the sea before, giving a nice bit of dynamism. It was obviously a very windy day. Recovery is by Runrig.
Hello all my dear Flickr Friends --- I am back and looking forward to seeing your images - it will take me a while to catch up with you all. - It has been far too long!!
This was taken at Stackpole in Pembrokeshire Wales. My best wishes to you all - Kit :))
Seeking shade on a sun scorched day on the Pembrokeshire coast path around Stackpole. I'm in the mood by John Lee Hooker is a great song and a fine title.
This coastal vista was taken from Saddle Point and shows the coastline as far as Stackpole Point with some dunes of Stackpole Warren visible behind. This is part of the beautiful scenic south coast within Pembrokeshire National Park in Wales.
The picture is compiled from photomerging a series of seven vertical shots.
A Grade II listed structure, the bridge was built in 1797 to connect Stackpole Court and Home Farm to Stackpole Quay and the New Deer Park.

A wonderful walk around the always wonderful Stackpole Head coast in Pembrokeshire. It was always one of Sue's favourite walks, especially with two cafe's on the route, and walking it yesterday with Sue's sister Margaret and husband Graham was wonderful , full of memories of the last time all four of us had walked here. there was a strong wind and a very low tide so at times it made you breathless. Breathless is by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
