Grabbed an old video card and started perfecting the focus stacking process. Now I need to perfect cleaning the stuff I am shooting!

We'd arranged the plates in stacks based on their colour, but it seems that we needn't have bothered at all.

The waiter tallying our plate count whipped out what appeared to be an RFID-based scanner and waved it across the stacks, beeping along the way as it painlessly picked up the numbers.

I'm keeping my completed craft fair items in the suitcase these days.

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today on the Cheery Lynn Blog I share a layout using the new release dies. My family is in 4-H and the kids show rabbits as a project. The bunny dies in the new release are a perfect accent for my 8×8" layout. I layered mats cut from the Deutschland Boutique stacker set with mats with the Deutschland Border set. I love how they work together nicely with the A2 Frames. We show Californian Rabbits and they have the exact body type as the Bunnies. To finish them off I colored their noses, feet, tail and ears gray/black like the real rabbits. I titled my layout #Iam4H to complete the page.

My photo. Someone stacked these chairs in this odd spot and I liked the the design they made. Cropped from a larger shot and sharpened. PhotoPlus X4.

Stacking rings made from sterling silver, etched copper, and etched brass. I've never made or worn stacking rings, they are very comfortable. I made one that acts as a spacer between the etched elements, so they don't get all jumbled together.

This was my second go at the CombineZM software. When i take pictures of insects, i take a lot of them. I end up with a lot of pictures with only small differences. To improve DOF is used the CombineZM software.

Btw, view large ;)

… and our outlier of the day…

Our Daily Challenge - Mar 4, 2012 - "Stacks"

This was fun!

I was pretty much at a loss until late afternoon when I decided to see if I could pick up some pale/pastel fabric at the fabric store, as I tend to prefer the darker tones and that's pretty much all I have save white and pink (for Valentine's day.)

While I was there, I found this lovely blue&white check fleece (love fleece - it hangs nicely, doesn't cause glare, and tents to resist wrinkling.)

Anyway, with fabric in hand, I started thinking I'd go with an "It's a Boy!" baby theme. Alas, on returning home, I realized son's baby stuff is in a box or two (or ten) and not at all accessible.

So I rummaged through the puppy bin (Yes, I have one. Yes, it is accessible. Stop laughing.) and came up with some pastel toys.

(Hint: rubber bands work wonders to hold woolie toys together when you want to stack them and have them stay stacked!)

For whatever reason, the boys got a kick out of this shoot, and a good time was had by all.
