these have been around for awhile but, they fit this prompt so I just decided to stick them up fro another turn, As you recall, I stacked these up so I could photograph them, while standing in line at the butcher shop... I still enjoy thinking about how I knew everyone was looking but, I just kept stacking...then took out my camera...moved around a little and took a few photos...Fun happens.
Jo, I know these don't meet the criteria that you laid out for us and that is what makes the prompts fun,,, ,,I will be doing something on a white background and if I can find my black cloth,,,something on black, too..I have not done much on black..will be fun to see what happens. love your idea this week.
smoke stasks in black and white i just love how the wind caught the stacks and they sort of mingle into the cloudy sky
Experimenting with 3 x 8 series shot at +2,0,-2 taken at various focal lengths. A lot of work with a poor subject sleection. Nikon D90 with 105mm Macro.
Steps:
1. 24 RAW shots converted to .TIFF files
2. Applied Noise Reduction (Topaz DeNoise 5) to each
3. Merged 8 shots taken at +2 in Helicon Focus
4. Merged 8 shots taken at 0 in Helicon Focus
5. Merged 8 shots taken at -2 in Helicon Focus
6. HDR generated in Photomatix (tonemapped) from 3 merged results
7. Photoshop - minor adjust (color balance, brightness, etc.)

Stacking empty milk bottles on top of the removed label of one of those milk bottles. At Dunks w/Wig, Ricky, Flav and Mark.
Waning crescent moon. Canon T3i, 500 mm. 60 exposures 1/500 sec, 1600 iso. Stacked and processed with Registax.
