The Meteor F.8 introduced a redesigned tail section, one of the key improvements over earlier variants of Britain’s first operational jet fighter. The larger, more swept tail fin and modified fuselage enhanced stability and control at higher speeds, making the F.8 the definitive and most capable version of the Meteor.

Parliament backed a limited Treaty change to allow the establishment of the European Stability Mechanism in a vote on Wednesday, one day before the summit where EU Member States are expected to endorse this new tool. MEPs were satisfied with the "positive signals" given by the Member States on bringing the intergovernmental mechanism closer to the EU framework.
MEPs have been criticising the original European Council proposal on the Treaty change as regards both the method used and the content, since neither one respects the "EU method" but is essentially intergovernmental. The two co-rapporteurs, Elmar Brok (EPP, DE, on the right in the photo) and Roberto Gualtieri (S&D, IT, on the left in the photo) have kept negotiating with the other institutions with a view to enabling Parliament to give a positive opinion on the issue.

Stability, Growth and Cooperation: Uganda in 2012 and its Role in Regional Stability, 22 February 2012
The Predator is our run’n’gun stability kit for the Canon C100, C300 and C500*. The fixed LCD screen of the C100 camera particularly lends itself to this compact, simple kit. It is perfect for fast paced shoots and lightweight set ups.
The Predator starts with our Gorilla Baseplate. The rest of the framework attaches via a vertical post that connects to the underside of the plate via a quick-release ratcheting lever. A tripod plate can be installed under the Gorilla Baseplate via standard ¼ 20” and 3/8 16” screw holes. The Gorilla Plate has a 15mm port on the side to attach an accessory arm like the Standard Mount for our EVF. It also has two lightweight threaded rod ports on the front. You can add rods to hold a follow focus or mattebox.
The Predator includes an adjustable gunstock on a ball joint that can settle comfortably into the shooters chest to create a solid brace. The ‘handle’ portion of the Predator is ourC100/300 Grip Relocator. The Canon removable camera grip attaches directly to our Grip Relocator handle and our exclusive cable connects to the port on your camera. Once its plugged in, users have trigger or on/off control, lens aperture control, and a programmable function button that can be set to a number of things including waveform, 1 to 1 zoom, zebras, my menu, and many more. The cable is 24" long.
C100 Users: We recommend the Predator be used with our C100 Z-finder directly on the camera LCD. Our Z-finder will magnify the screen, cut out the light, and has a diopter to adjust for any eyesight issues. It also gives the user one more point of stability. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting new product!
*The Predator can be used on the C500 but you must have a C100/C300 grip for this kit to work.
He has extra stability this way.

Responding to the need for stability and youth aspirations for amplifying their voices and journey to paint their value as decision-makers in Tunisia ,Allaeddine Rezgui LDF 2019 alumnus from Tunisia, founded his NGO Alwane, inspired by his longing passion for painting a futuristic vision” where youth are solution creators and partners, not to be left marginalized in the back seats”.
“My participation in the Leaders for Democracy Fellowship in Lebanon 2019, was a lifetime experience as it contributed towards shaping my knowledge and mainly my emotional intelligence and ability to adapt to diversity and new work conditions”. Says Alaeddine.
With a newly elected president and continuous efforts to engage youth in the public scene, Ala believes that professional opportunities like the Leaders for Democracy offered him doors to explore, question, meet like-minded people, and expand his network of changemakers and leaders in the MENA region and beyond.
Energized, encouraged, and more resilient were the main fruits that Alaeddine managed to grab during his rich participation. He got back home full of dreams and plans on how to uplift the grassroots lying in his local communities longing for development and a bottom-up change approach.
“The LDF program taught me to see the full picture while paying attention to details” says Alaeddine while reflecting on the dozens of workshops which he conducted as a free bono consultancy frame for his youth community-based beneficiaries. Despite his full-time job as an advisor in a governmental department, Alaeddine kept moving pieces together by being a committed volunteer offering coaching sessions focusing on conflict resolution, youth development, and communication across Tunisia. He helped motivate hundreds of youth whose age range between 20 to 27 years old.
“I had the opportunity also to reformulate the objectives of my NGO “Alwane” by investing on what I have learned and acquired during my LDF experience”. Alaeddine cooperated with a group of youth leaders and his fellow LDF alumni to reshape his NGO to be driven towards achieving the democratization of an accessible peace, democracy, and dialogue education tools and means amongst the most vulnerable and marginalized communities in Tunisia.
Alaeddine is hopeful that in the upcoming year 2020, he will sow what he reaped during the LDF program to keep on empowering youth and millennials in general, in the post-revolutionary Tunisia. For him” LDF created out of him a leader with much solidified skills and core competencies and he will be committed towards spreading and carrying that legacy for generations”
