Is it too late to post spring pictures?

Royal Springs is a Suwannee County Park near O'Brien. The spring itself is fairly wide and deep, and there is a short, shallow run that leads out to the Suwannee River.

It's a bit of a swimmin' hole spot- what with the platform built over the edge, and it can be a little silty, but there's plenty of reptile royalty around on a quiet day.

Garden of the Gods is a public park located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.

It contains numerous trails for hiking, walking, mountain biking and horseback riding. One of the most popular trails, named Perkins, has been paved in an effort to combat the erosion of the park's central garden caused by its numerous visitors. Visitors receive frequent reminders to watch out for rattlesnakes in the hot days of summer.

Because of the unusual and steep rock formations in the park, it is an attractive goal for rock climbers. Rock climbing is permitted, with annual permit obtained at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center. The only requirements are reading the rules, proper equipment, climbing with a "buddy", and staying on established climbing routes. Due to the often unstable conditions of the sandstone—particularly after much precipitation—several fatalities have occurred over the years. This is a very popular bicycle-riding area because of the scenic views, safe one-way recently-paved roads, and healthy clean air.

When I returned to school after Spring Break, everything had started to bloom. So, my photographer and I got together and held my Spring Kitsuke photoshoot, to go with my Autumn and Winter one... I will eventually load the Winter one here.

This is my Heisei period irotomesode featuring a design of famous sites in Kyoto with the urushi technique (weaving a design with lacquered threads). The fukuro obi has a design of pine branches and plum blossoms over water. I liked this combination a lot, but it was too warm for the bright sunlight that day.

As pretty as these flowers are, I absolutely hate them. They're some variant of pear blossoms that smell like day-old fish. It's disgusting, why are they all over my school?

Winner on front page of Bokeh and Beyond group .Thank you!

This spring-fed pond has an unusual problem -- locals have a history of dumping unwanted aquarium fish here. For now, the outflow creek has enough cold water to keep these fish from entering the Snake River. In a changing climate, that might change.
