stri's computer hygiene tip:
clean out your keyboard with the adhesive edge of a "post it" or generic 'sticky note' at least once per month. if you don't have any sticky notes, try some scotch tape.
doesn't everyone think the result of keyboard cleaning would make for a GREAT flickr group?

I spent the day spring cleaning.....it felt so good to raise the windows and clean out the clutter of winter! I always feel so strong and accomplished after a good house cleaning. The air even smells cleaner tonight. I hope winter is out of here..........sweet 65 degrees tomorrow, come on in!
Manor Nursery Coffee Shop was closed today, for its annual deep clean ... they hires a special steam cleaner to do the floors, and the rest was thoroughly scubbed by hand ...
on cleaning. This is why I've been away all day! I still have so much more to do before the day ends. This is just a handful of things that aid in my cleaning/moving. I could never get anything done without my moving men! LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They are the best invention since sliced bread!

These are my everyday stoneware dishes and I've had them 20 years and they had no chips or cracks, but were looking so tired with all the utensil marks. A little Bar Keepers Friend and a nylon scrubbie and lots of elbow grease and now they look like new. I can't believe the difference it made.

My poor mommie had to spend all afternoon doing some spring cleaning in her apartment. I wanted to help her, so I got together every bit of cleaning equipment I could get my paws one and then I meditated very hard in order to send her lots of positive energy.
And it worked! Right after I woke up Henry called me and told me that my mommie had cleaned the whole place in one go!
If you need positive cleaning energy, I’m your sheep, just send a generous donation to the “Shaun Sheep Cookie err Cleaning Foundation” and I get to work concentrating, can’t hurt can it? hehe :-)

June 4, 2020 - Me Restringing all four of my Violin Strings at Home tonight, and lubriating the Peg! Time for some Spring Cleaning and Spring Restringing!
Our refrigerator was close to capacity right before we emptied out all the stuff we didn't actually use. We ended up with a near empty fridge after.
What did we discover? Among the refuse a two-year old bottle of orange juice and a two-month old wilted head of lettuce. By the end we had filled three garbage bags of junk.

Spring Cleaning Favorite Finds
I did this a couple years ago and blogged about it on my Yahoo 360 page...clicking through Flickr and lo and behold! There's an entire group dedicated to it. Sorry it's not that well laid out, will improve upon the process next go 'round.
Early vacuum cleaner made and patented by A. S. Isles & Co., Birmingham, in the 1890s. 'Daisy' was a registered trademark, part of which was an image of the eponymous flower.
The machine has a wooden body on four iron wheels with spokes, attached to the cleaner are four handles and an iron drive-wheel with a wooden handle. Inside are bellows, a dust box and an inlet for its hose.
This is a carpet cleaner for a wealthy household. It took two people to operate it; one turning the wheel to produce a vacuum from the bellows and another to direct the hose nozzle.

One from the Archives, taken at summerfest. Part of my early Spring Clean of my files, and it certainly feels, and looks like Spring. It must have got close to 70F today. My roses are covered in fresh leaves, daffodils and tulips are a long way out of the ground. However, it is still officially winter, so the title is a bit inaccurate, unless anyone can make a connection to Autumn?

These beers won't last long in the beer fridge, since they all carry a Best Before date in 2009.

I had all my camera stuff shoved into this shelf, and we're having guests come so I had to clean it up. How's it look? :-) Don't worry they do get used. Not all with the same frequency but I like choices. Diversity is good :-)
