My vintage apartment has built in cabinets and drawers. My sink is made of cast iron and is on table legs. I don't have a dishwasher so a dish rack is a necessity. I keep cleaning supplies under the sink. I used to have a skirt that covered up this area but a) the underside of the sink is made of something that my velcro doesn't stick too to well b) the skirt got dirty and also got bleached when I cleaned the sink. Still a basket or something might look a little nicer here.
Bees Spring cleaning - - in Elvir's Garden.
In late April, attending to the Beehives to check the cleanliness and see if the bees have enough wax to lay brood (new eggs for new workers).......
Some hives are performing so well they have quickly run out of space and present a chance for swarming - so to avoid that happening (its ok but only under controlled circumstances) we add a top box with new wax frames.

Sunday. Did some serious spring-cleaning in our bathroom yesterday afternoon. I think I was temporarily possessed by the spirit of my mother, as I was scrubbing not just the tub and toilet, but the walls, baseboards, toilet brush holder, doors, etc. :) I went a little nuts! But now it's so shiny and clean and I'm just so proud of my work!

Magazine Storage: Some people collect books, others magazines. Even in the digital age, many of us still enjoy the feel of a glossy magazine and the rustle of a thick newspaper. The only down side to that though is the possibility for pile up and clutter. Consider a modern magazine rack or our fashion inspired magazine bags to store all of your periodicals in stylish manner.

My sundial has been out of commission for several months. Time to dust the old girl off and point her north.
Doing #spring cleaning this week not by choice, filed my corporate/studio #taxes down to owing just $100 vs $1800 (found the bill). Refund was $1700, not seeing a dollar but ok, doing home life and design. #homeoffice #taxseason #springcleaning

So today was spent doing some serious deep cleaning. My hands are raw from all the cleaning but the windows in the back are all cleaned (outside only for now) Balcony cleaned up, Patio cleaned. Washed my Shark vac it's all nice and clean. Cleaned my air purifier and it's back on and hopefully I will be breathing better (need to get rid of the dog for that to permanently happen!!!) Washed 85% of baseboards downstairs - tracks from sliding glass doors - so you see those pictures would be totally boring so I thought this lovely set of swans at Rogers Gardens would be much more delightful :D One is a planter and the other a fountain - I would love to have them in my yard but not the theme for the wedding - um can we change the theme LOL :D
