This was taken early on when I first got my camera. Even though its been a while, I am still very happy with the shot.

Friendly robin who helps out in the garden.

Not sure if it's a Blackbird chick or another bird. Not very nice but it is nature. Don't know how common this is. We've had Blackbirds nesting in our back garden for years, but we've never seen anything like this.

Ardea cinerea on the Kennet & Avon Canal

Spotted each other at about the same instance, early morning.

A 'just for the record' series, the bird was working on the shady side of the tree with low sun the other side. On only secluded approach to the tree - the other side is a field & he's off whenever anyone approaches!

Yes, another day of multitasking in town....another squirrel...but....a great pose from this fatty

Named by @ncguk on Twitter, Vera (probably formerly Bertram the She Squirrel - many squirrels about) sat long enough on our garden fence for me to capture her staring at me, as I was at her.

It's not the best quality photo but it's adequate enough to see how very pretty and how very pregnant she is. Aw, frankly.

Two birds engaged in a chase, perhaps the lower one (woodpigeon) avoided the predator by creating a stunning diversion !
