I took this picture last year, and I've been saving it, waiting for Spring. Well, Spring is finally sprung!

Primavera.

Springtime!. Almost an entire season without uploading photos!

It is difficult going out to make photos when the climate does not accompany!

Now that it seems that climate is giving us a breathe, although still cold, we can go out with gloves and a hat on.

This photo is made in the famous park of Keukenhof, a wonder floral park near Lisse (The Netherlands) from where is impossible to leave without have taken a minimum of 200 shots. Due to this is, as is said in their web page, the most photographed attraction of the world and the most visited one of Europe. :/

Let’s see if this is the definitive one and I start uploading photos again oftenly.

Thanks for keep visiting my pictures and any comment will be welcome.

What a cool script! This is a tweak of Rosmarie Edwards script, Strange. I saw all of the other cool tweaks of it and had to give it a go. Enhanced a bit with Filter Forge and then Dreamscope.

A tumbledown cowshed that I've photographed to death over the years but hardly ever in daylight..

Falling leaves drive thoughts of the springtime start of the season.

Stillwater County. View of I-90 and the Springtime area from the Springtime Road west of Columbus. Sited along the former Northern Pacific line (now Montana Rail Link) and near the Yellowstone River, Springtime had a post office from 1916 (August 11) to 1932 (June 15). Nelson Miller served as the first postmaster. The Springtime name came from the developers of the townsite.

These were taken using a Pentax 85mm f/2.2 Soft focus lens. It was designed to have a ton of under-corrected spherical aberration. As such, it's depth of field is extremely deep, even wide open (if you don't understand how this can be, ask and I'll try to explain, or point you to someone who has already said it well). I find if I focus close and let the back edge of what is in focus barely touch the subject, the background _finally_ drops away. Messing with the aperture, of course, adds another dimension of possibilities.

The real reason I wanted to write something in these comments/descriptions is that this Pentax lens came mounted with a Nikon F-mount bayonet. It's the only Pentax K-mount lens I've so far seen remounted this way. I don't know if Pentax made a series of Nikon F-mount (never heard of it before) or if this was just a very good job done in a shop somewhere.

...my chance in the limelight! Not going to happen again in MY lifetime. I was asked to play Adolf in this musical number from "The Producers"!

(hmmm. When they were looking for someone to act like a really swishy gay dictator, how come they thought of me first...?)
